A passionate experiential marketer, Bobby Bissessar is driven by the success of his clients - helping them break down organizational silos, unleashing the true potential of their business and harnessing the creativity of their people to drive unparalleled customer experiences. He truly understands the premise that happy employees drive customer loyalty and repeat business, especially in this competitive landscape and aims to help businesses make this their reality.
Hospitality and passion for helping people runs deep for Bobby, having spent his formative years working in this mother's catering company in his homeland of Trinidad and Tobago; doing everything from washing dishes to cooking to coordinating food and beverage at events for Heads of State.
Having completed his Bachelor of Commerce with a dual specialization in Service Management and Entrepreneurship at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, and with over ten years experience, Bobby went on to lead the marketing efforts at Swarovski's health and wellness, crystal-infused resort in the Okanagnan Valley, Sparkling Hill Resort. In addition to the focus on the hotel business, he also enjoyed marketing the on-site food and beverage outlets as well as Western Canada’s largest hotel spa, the 40,000 sq.ft. KurSpa.
Most recently, Bobby spearheaded the marketing team for Canada's first and only hotel to achieve its Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Rating within its first year of operation, Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver. Bobby honed his craft taking on the on-site marketing for the award-winning, internationally-acclaimed Mott 32 - Chinese Fine Dining Restaurant, The Trump Champagne Lounge and The Spa by Ivanka Trump.
Bobby is a member of the American Marketing Association - BC Chapter and an Associate Member of the Association of Business Executives (UK). Currently, he also serves as the Senior Manger - Business Development, Partnerships and Sponsorship. When Bobby is not pushing the limits, he can be found on the hunt for the city's next best culinary experiences or recharging on the coastline of the West Coast.
